Rihanna is best known for being a pop star, but one of the singer’s best attributes is her beauty. The Bajan goddess shows off her modelling skills – and her goodies – on GQ Magazine’s “Men of the Year” issue. She also graces the cover as the first black woman to appear on this issue’s MOTY edition.
The issue hits stands next Monday, November 19. Try to keep from drooling on your keyboard.
Look out for an editorial update soon!

I always enjoy when magazine editorials do a take on the music industry, putting their own fashion spin on rock n’ roll. The “Queen of Noise” editorial in the December ’11 issue of Vogue Paris does just that.
Shot by David Sims, model Raquel Zimmermann is transformed into a Patti Smith-inspired rock goddess with serious style.

I always look to i-D magazine for fun and exciting editorials. Their Winter 2011 issue, with Anja Rubik on the cover, provides just that and more!
One editorial that I cannot get enough of features British beauty Jourdan Dunn, shot by Alasdair McLellann.
Titled “Grab A Friend…”, the editorial captures the model’s vintage quirkiness through vivid colors and old-school styling.
I love the way the photographer uses Dunn’s creamy skin tone as a complement to the surrounding colors.

As the dates lead up to her debut album, Lana Del Rey has become inescapable. While many are cringing at even the name of the singer, I cannot get enough!
Her recent press comes from the February issue of Interview Russia, where the bluesy singer (shot by Sean & Seng) plays up her “gangsta Nancy Sinatra” image beautifully.

This year’s issues of Vogue Italia haven’t been the strongest, but an editorial from their September issue stuck with me. The issue wasn’t their best work, but one of the editorials showcased the talent of one of my favorite models Isabeli Fontana.
Shot by Vincent Peters, the editorial is very classic and sultry. I love the timeless “Film Noir” elements that are present in the editorial, which give it a mysterious feel. Isabeli Fontana, a chameleon of a model, suits the 1940s-esque vibe perfectly.

Numero is one of my favorite fashion magazines because they always bring it in their editorials, and this month’s issue doesn’t disappoint! My favorite editorial from the November issue (#128) is “Eden”, featuring the issue’s cover girl Aline Weber.
Shot by Camilla Akrans, the editorial captures the seductive essence of the “Garden of Eden” and makes it captivating. I like that the focus is on the photography angles rather than the fashion, since this is a simple concept shoot. Of course, Aline Weber feline looks are stunning as ever.
