There were rumours of Lana Del Rey’s “Black Beauty” ballad to appear on her next album, but as with any of her songs the tune leaked with high anticipation.

The song is moody in the typical LDR form, but borrows the delicate melancholy found during her Lizzy Grant demo days rather than the bombastic production a la Born To Die – thanks to the ethereal bassline and lyrics: “Oh, what can I do / Life is beautiful, but you don’t have a clue.”

Overall, the song is beautiful and the official version is bound to be even better. Listen to it below!
