The Festivals Never End: R. Kelly, Björk and Belle and Sebastian Headlining Pitchfork Music Festival 2013

Just when we thought the summer festival lineups couldn’t get any stranger (looking at you Coachella), Pitchfork just announced the lineup for their 2013 music festival.

R. Kelly, Björk and Belle and Sebastian all serve as headliners for the indie fest. Pitchfork stated the full lineup with over 40 artists will be announced soon. With the addition of R. Kelly, it seems like Pitchfork may be  trying a little too hard. Does their hipster audience truly know the R&B singer’s extensive catalog? Or will he just be forced to sing obvious hits like “Ignition (Remix)” and “Fiesta”?

Find out for yourself when the festival hits Chicago’s Union Park from July 19-21. Tickets are on sale now.
