Music Bite: The Weeknd Drops “Rolling Stone” Video; Releases “Trilogy” Cover Art

October 4, 2012 § 1 Comment

As the hype around The Weeknd’s upcoming Trilogy project heightens, the R&B singer released a new music video in the midst of it all.

The video for “Rolling Stone” (off of the Thursday mixtape) is the first “mainstream” style video from the singer, but it still represents his unique style. I mean, he did direct it himself.

Abel Tesfaye shot the video in black and white, which makes the simple yet tense frames even more so.

View below:

Look out for Trilogy (which will feature remastering of the singer’s three mixtapes, as well as new tracks) dropping on November 26.
