The Roc Nation roster just keeps on growing, with M.I.A recently signed to their management team. The UK artist will join Santigold, Wale, Meek Mill, Shakira, Rihanna and more as a part of Jay-Z’s business family. She is still a part of Interscope Records.
After receiving mixed reviews from her latest album Maya, it is possible that M.I.A is looking to reach higher worldwide success with her forthcoming album Matangi.

Austin City Limits Lineup Announced! Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jack White, & The Black Keys Will Headline

After many awesome music festivals this year – with more to come – Austin City Limits will be the one closing out the year. The predominately rock music festival will take place on October 12-14 in Austin’s Zilker Park.
Headliners include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jack White, Neil Young and The Black Keys! Other performing acts are: Big K.R.I.T, Childish Gambino, AVICII, Florence + The Machine, The Roots, M83, Iggy and the Stooges, Andrew Bird, Crystal Castles, Band of Skulls and more!

A few nights ago, budding producer Nicolas Jaar made his BBC Radio 1 debut when he played with intensity for two hours with his Essential Mix. His picks ranged from Feist, Marvin Gaye, ‘NSYNC, Beyonce and even his own material.
Opening with Angelo Badalamenti discussing the Twin Peaks score, Jaar’s mix is strange, provocative and simply talented.
I became an instant fan after being in his presence at a Brown University party, and I’m excited to see where his career goes.
